How do I get the most out of my Turbo X battery?

The Turbo X comes with a rechargeable lithium ion battery that will play for up to 26 hours at 75dB. When you’re not using your Turbo X though, here are a few tips to ensure that you get the most out of your battery for the long term.

1) Extended idle periods (many months, up to a year) can be detrimental to the overall life of a lithium ion battery. If you primarily use your Turbo X while plugged into an outlet, we recommend that you leave the battery button pressed IN. The Turbo X has a smart battery charging system that will automatically stop charging when the battery is full.

2) If you have periods of time where you know you will have the Turbo X plugged into an outlet, we recommend that you make sure to press the battery button IN at least every 3 months to charge the battery.

3) When traveling, push the battery button OUT to preserve battery charge and prevent the speaker from accidentally turning on in transit.
