Riva Concert and Stadium Firmware Update Instructions

How to Update the Firmware for the Riva Concert:

  • Initial Setup:

    • Connect the Riva-Concert to the power supply.

    • Observe the LED on the Riva-Concert. It will start blinking blue and eventually turn white once the booting process is complete.

  • Connecting to the Network:

    • When the white LED blinks slowly, it indicates that the Riva-Concert is discoverable and ready to be connected to the network.

    • Your Apple device should be connected to the same network your speaker will be connected to.

    • On your Apple device go to "Wi Fi" settings. Riva Concert XXXXXX will appear as,” Set up New Airplay Speaker”, Below the “NETWORKS” list.

    • Connect the "Riva-Concert" to your Wi Fi network using the (Airplay) method.

    • If the white LED stops blinking and remains solid white, this means the Riva-Concert has successfully connected to the network.

  • Troubleshooting Connection Issues:

    • If you face any issues with the Wi Fi network connection, or if the WAC (Airplay) fails to detect the Riva-Concert:

      • Press and hold the indicated buttons (Back arrows button and center button) simultaneously.

      • Wait for the blue LED to blink.

      • This action will restore the Riva-Concert to its factory settings and reboot the device.

      • After the reboot, try connecting to the network again.

  • Finding the IP Address of Riva-Concert:

  • Method 1

    Open the RIVA VOICE app. and select the “Gear icon”, you will find IP address for RIVA speaker.

  • Method 2

    • Open Google Chrome on your laptop.

    • Enter your router's management address in the URL bar (ensure your laptop is on the same network as the Riva-Concert).

    • Browse through the router's web page to locate the IP address of the Riva-Concert.

    Method 3:

    • Download the "Discovery APP" on your Apple device.

    • Launch the app and use it to find the IP address of the Riva-Concert. Ensure your Apple device is connected to the same network as the Riva-Concert.

  • Updating the Firmware:

    • Open Google Chrome.

    • Enter the IP address of the Riva Concert or Stadium in the URL bar.

    • This will take you to the web page for a firmware update

    • Click “Upgrade”

    • Click “Choose File” and select the appropriate File and click “Ok”

    • Under “Factory Reset”, click “Update” and click “Ok” to confirm

    • Follow the on-screen instructions to update the firmware for Riva-Concert.

    • Once the update is successful, the Riva-Concert will automatically reboot.

Please Note: If something in the update process goes wrong, it can brick the speaker. Please proceed with caution and diligence when using this process.
